Physics II covers topics related to Oscillations, Thermodynamics, Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, and Optics.
Students that make it through Physics I tend to do a little bit better in Physics II. Part of this might be because they have learned what their professor expects of them. In general though, the practice in Physics I has improved students’ math skills and problem solving ability.
The topics tend to be a little more abstract in Physics II. It is easy to visualize an object sliding down an incline, but it is initially difficult to picture atoms or electrons moving from place to place.
As time goes on, I’ll be adding more information to this section. For now, though, the following topics are available.
Topics in Physics II
- Thermodynamics
- Electricity and Magnetism
