The AP physics Equations are provided on an equation sheet that will help you during the exam.

Sometimes students decide that they don’t need to study as hard because the equations sheet is provided. Why memorize something that is given to you.

I’m not suggesting that you memorize the equations, but you do need to make sure that you understand all of the equations and all of the variables within each equation. This series of lessons provides information on each equation. It also includes “games” to help you interact with and learn the names of the variables and their preferred units.

You should work your way through all of the lessons, but feel free to jump back and forth between AP Physics Equations to make sure you are in tip-top shape for the AP Physics Exam. The more familiar you are with these equations, the better you will do on the exam.

Please note that Physics This Week is not affiliated in any way with the AP Physics exam. There is no connection to the College Board, the company that produces the exam. I am just a physics professor who knows that students do better in physics when they have a firm grasp of the equations being used.
